Frac Markets Tighten Further
Liberty sees a more constructive completions outlook as stronger producer economics and modestly higher activity absorb much of the available frac capacity. Frac spread attrition, equipment cannibalization, and underinvestment continue to constrain supply. This also supports further pricing improvement. Higher completion intensity also favors scaled operators with advanced equipment and digital technology. Management expects Q4 weather and holiday seasonality to be partly offset by activity deferred from Q3.
Power Platform Secures 1.2 GW Opportunity
Liberty Power Innovations signed a strategic development agreement with a frontier AI lab and infrastructure platform for 1.2 GW of integrated data-center power services. The first energy service agreement, targeting about 500 MW, is expected by December 2026, with phased energization from Q4 2027 through Q1 2029. The deal includes a significant prepayment of capacity fees. Separately, record natural-gas substitution exceeded 60% of frac-fleet fuel, delivering annualized fuel savings of more than $1 billion for customers.
